Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to our most commonly asked questions below.
Will you deliver to my address?
At Dirty Dirt, we take pride in serving our community - so much that we offer half price delivery to our neighbors in White Center and Burien.
We’re also happy to deliver to West Seattle/Delridge, Normandy Park, South Park, Tukwila, Seatac and Georgetown. If you're located beyond our delivery zone, consider renting a truck from Handy Andy, Home Depot or U-haul to pick up your supplies.
Do I need to be home during a delivery?
While we appreciate your presence, we know life gets hectic. If you're unable to be at home during the delivery process please label the area with whatever you have on hand. Effective markers include cones, buckets, paint tarps, garden hoses or signposts—feel free to get creative, as long as the location is visible and safe for our transport team.
Can I get two products delivered in one truck?
We’re happy to deliver all your materials in one go, but be aware that our dump box trucks could blend them together. For the cleanest experience, we suggest arranging separate deliveries for each item.
How do I figure out how much my truck can carry?
It's essential to verify the weight capacity of your truck, usually noted on the inside of the driver's side door. For smaller pickups, we recommend not exceeding ½ yards for heavier products (sands & gravels) and 1-1.5 for the lighter products (mulches & compost).
What items can I bring for recycling?
We welcome clean yard waste, dirt*, sod, and concrete for recycling.
Take a look at our current dump fees:
Clean Green/Leaves/Grass Clippings/Brush $30/yd.
Clean Dirt/Rocky Dirt $50/yd
Sod/Grassy Dirt $60/yd.
Concrete/Brick/Asphalt $65/yd.
*We kindly ask that you ensure your dirt is free from any contaminants before bringing it here. If our staff suspects the presence of chemicals, heater oils or other harmful substances, they may have to turn your load away.
